What is the Radio Bible Hour? The Radio Bible Hour is a 501c3 non-profit religious organization founded in 1935. It is one of the oldest radio ministries in the United States. It's mission is the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through various media, mission work, and Christian training of pastors and lay people. It is doctrinally Baptist, and was founded by J. Harold Smith, a Baptist pastor and evangelist.

Harold Smith? Dr. J. Harold Smith is the founder of the Radio Bible Hour, and served as president of the organization until his home-going in 2001. During his ministry years he served as a pastor and evangelist, was Southern Baptist, and was a pioneer in the use of broadcast media in Christian ministry.

What does it mean to be a Christian? How can I know I'm saved? In the Bible, we read that "if you confess with our mouth 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Rom 10:9)." You can learn more about being a Christian by going here.
