Creative Arts Ministry
The Creative Arts Ministry uses its talents in a unique way to expose the gospel of Jesus Christ through Dance, Flag waving, Mime and Drama. Presentations are usually staged for Worship, Easter, Christmas and various special events throughout the Church year.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry seeks to enhance the service with uplifting and spirit-led music. The following choirs comprise the ministry:
- Mass Choir (ages 18 & over)
- Youth Choir (ages 13 -17)
- Junior Choir (ages 8 - 12)
- ABC Choir (ages 3 - 7)
Rehearsal for all the choirs takes place on Thursday evenings.
Prayer Ministry
A powerful ministry that leads the church’s charge in demonstrating the power of prayer in the Christian walk. It meets to pray for the needs of the church and the community on the first Saturday of every month at 12 noon.
Media Ministry
Provides the sound, music, visuals, and videos you hear and see every Sunday morning or during special events. A copy of the morning service is readily available on CD immediately after the service for the sick and also for purchase. The ministry also produces the radio program heard on WAVS 1170 AM radio every Sunday morning at 11:00 A.M.
Ordinance Ministry
Two sub-ministries - Baptism and Communion – make up the Ordinance Ministry. The Baptism ministry assists newly converted believers to prepare for Baptism, an act demonstrated by Jesus Christ in Matthew 3:15 when he was baptized by John the Baptist. The Communion ministry prepares and help to administer Holy Communion on the third Sunday of every month during morning worship.
