Giving

 An Important Message from Pastor Don

2 Corinthians 5:7, “We walk by faith; not by sight.”  NKJV             

As you may remember, Lighthouse Counsel partnered with Hendersonville First United Methodist Church last fall to help us grow in our stewardship to God and to study and evaluate the church as a whole.  Therefore, we purposely did not hold a formal annual campaign for 2014 as we took steps to seek, listen, discern, and plan.  Much of that has been completed now and the Stewardship Team is at work planning the 2015 annual stewardship campaign.  You will hear more about it and the survey results in the near future.

In interim, I ask you to commit to pledge with me to continue faithfully giving and encourage you to consider an increase from last year’s pledge. 

Please pray and consider your interim commitment (May 1 to December 31, 2014) to the ministry of HFUMC.  Please submit your commitment by April 30 either online at hfumc.org (see the giving tab) or by filling out the enclosed card and mailing it to the church office (217 East Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075, attention Michelle Seibert). You can also drop it off at the church office, in a drop safe or in the offering plate.

On behalf the Stewardship Team, I want to thank you for your prayers, generosity and new commitment for 2014.  By working together, we can do so much more than we could by working alone.
