Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Nations

Margaret Pendergrast

Executive Assistant

Margaret Pendergrast has served as Executive Assistant to the ministry of David Stockwell Evangelistic Association since September of 2004.  She has a heart to serve, is energetic, and enjoys her work in the Katy, Texas office.  Her primary role for the ministry is administrative; however, she is always willing to be of service in a variety of other capacities.  Margaret has also had the joy of serving on the mission field as a team member in Nairobi, Kenya in May of 2010, and in Hoedspruit, South Africa in July of 2013.  She loves the Lord and has been able to share her testimony with thousands of people and to encourage them with her clear, heart-felt communication of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Margaret is a graduate of James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas, and attended McClennan Community College in Waco, Texas, studying Child Care and Development.  In 1996, under the teaching of her pastor, Margaret began to understand that it was a personal relationship with Christ that she needed and desired.  She made a commitment to the Lord, and asked Jesus Christ to to come into her heart to be her Lord and Savior on April 18, 1996.

In 2001, Margaret and her husband, Mark, and son, Jeff, began attending Second Baptist Church West Campus in Katy.  Through the years, the Lord has given Margaret numerous opportunities to use her giftings in ministry.  She is the Missions Coordinator in her Bible study class, and a Shepherd Group leader and member in the SBC Worship Choir.  She also has a love for sharing the Good News to inmates in the Texas prison system, and has served as a teammate with Bill Glass Champions for Life since 1999.

One of Margaret's favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight..."
