Elisha's House Uganda - A Dormitory at ekitangaala ranch, north of Kampala, Uganda

Partnering with long-time friend and ministry partner Colonel Wayne Daniel, founder of African Children’s Mission in Uganda, we are thrilled to have helped build a dormitory for pastors, evangelists, and Christian workers who come to the ACM ranch for training and development classes, conferences, and Bible studies. The new dorm offers separate sleeping quarters and bathrooms for twenty-four men and women, and is furnished with bunk beds and a place to sit and study.

We are thrilled to be able to help provide more comfortable accommodations for Ugandans who desire to study the Scripture and to learn more about Jesus!  DSEA already partners with ACM to help sponsor national evangelists and feed orphans every day; we pray this dormitory will be an added blessing to many people who visit the ACM ranch.

The Elisha's House Dormitory was dedicated on October 1, 2016, with approximately 100 people in attendance, and included special moments of song, scripture, and prayer, words of exhortation by Wayne Daniel and David Stockwell, and personal remarks by Amy Stockwell.  Elisha's House was built in honor of Amy parents, Mary Frances and Oscar Stuart, who have both gone home to be with the Lord. The Stuarts were strong Christians and bold witnesses for Christ, who often housed traveling evangelists and missionaries in their home in Mississippi, USA in a bright and beautiful finished attic suite which they named “Elisha’s Room,” after the story of the room prepared for the prophet Elisha by the Shunnamite woman and her husband in 2 Kings 4:8-10.

We are now also working on a similar project in Zimbabwe!  Please contact Amy Stockwell at dsea@davidstockwell.org if you are interested in helping make this a reality.
