Baptist Campus Ministries is an important part of the ongoing evangelism strategies of both the Alabama State Board of Missions and the Birmingham Baptist Association. Currently, the BBA supports campus ministers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
BCM exists to reach students for Christ, grow faithful disciples, prepare students for Christian leadership, and involve students in mission service and education.
BCM is the mission arm of Southern Baptist Churches in Alabama. Students have opportunities to deepen their walk with God by reaching and ministering to fellow students in the name of Jesus Christ.There are continuing opportunities for Bible Study, discipleship, and student-led worship.Students are equipped to share their faith through involvement in campus life by participation in intramural sports, homecoming festivities, targeted outreach events and much more.BCM impacts the community through local missions and changes the world through involvement in short-term mission trips and student involvement in Summer Missions.
