Giving Payment Options

You asked for a way to have your planned giving automatically transferred, so we have set up a direct debit system with Home Federal Bank. For those who don’t have a degree in accounting, that means that you fill out a form, sign it, attach a voided check, return it to the office and every month your planned giving is automatically deducted from your account and transferred to the church’s account.

On the form, you can specify whether the money should come from checking or savings and whether it is transferred on the tenth or twenty-fifth of each month. The form also allows you to specify how your payment will be applied to your planned giving. That means you can pay your gift to the operational budget of the church and the capital campaign at the same time in the same payment.

Another payment option is online banking available from most banking institutions. Contact your bank to find out more information about this option and what financial information you’ll need from the church.
