Missions/Outreach
One of the foundational purposes for the church's existence is to help fulfill the Great Commission. Starting here in the Myrtle Beach area, our goal is to work and help others work to fulfill the goal that Jesus set before us.
In addition to our state and convention mission support, our church directly supports a missionary family serving on the foreign field. We have already begun plans for future mission activities and trips. We would like to get to know you better, or answer your questions concerning our church or its mission emphasis. Here is a sample of the outreach ministries our church and/or its members are involved in:
Helping Hand
Monthly contribution to help provide food, transportation, utilities, rent, clothing or other necessities to those who are going through difficult times
Mobile Meals
Deliver hot meals to shut-ins 5 days a week
National Health Care Nursing Home
Serve snacks and sing hymns in recognition of resident's birthdays on the third Wednesday of each month
Sunburn Unit
Free sunburn care, ice water, simple first aid and Christian witness for 6-8 weeks during summer of each year
Yard Sales for Missions
Church-wide contributions for yard sales to raise money for mission offerings
Migrant Health Kits
Annual collection of health care and personal items for migrant workers
Prisoner Gift Packets
Annual collection of items for Horry County and South Carolina prisoners
