Young Adults

The three young adult classes are comprised of a vibrant and growing group of couples and singles.  Classes emphasize open discussion and an environment which encourages everyone to contribute and to grow in their Christian commitment.  Frequent social activities include game nights, conversational dinners, recreational events, and lunch after the worship service.  Young adults serve others through the Interfaith Hospitality Network, Operation Inasmuch, Annual Fall Festival and various ministry projects.

  • Young Adult 1  Our young adult class for young professionals and graduate students (age 22+) meets for Bible study every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. in room 305 of our Education Building. This group sits together at the 11:00am worship service and usually goes to lunch together afterwards.  Friendship and fellowship make this the perfect class for young adults new to our community whether starting/advancing careers or attending one of the various graduate programs.

  • Young Adult 2  Singles and couples ages 30-45 are invited to attend.  Various materials are used for the curriculum, taught in a discussion-oriented format.  The class meets at 9:45 a.m. in room 306 each Sunday morning.  Class members and guests often go out to lunch together after the service and have monthly covered dish dinners.
  • Adult Forum   This discussion-centered class welcomes couples and singles. Most are ages 35-50.  The young families enjoy fellowship dinners each month. The class meets on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. in room 307.  The Baptists Today Bible study curriculum is used.
