Shelley Cheramie

Shelley is a native of Decatur Georgia where she graduated from Towers High School in 1981. She went into the U.S. Army shortly after graduation and became a Medic. She has been married for 35 years to Dwayne Cheramie. Her husband is a Tugboat Captain on the Mississippi River. They have three children, two daughters and a son: Brook (32), Travis (31), and Laura (29). They have seven precious grandchildren that they enjoy spending time.

 Shelley became a Christian at nine years old. She continues to grow in her faith and God's Word. She was called to work with preschool children nearly 30 years ago and has enjoyed every moment. She believes that it is never too early to teach little ones about the love of God and His Word. It is her passion to reach these children and their families with the love of Christ.

Shelley enjoys reading, drawing, crafts, and playing outdoors with her grandchildren. She also enjoys traveling with her husband.
