Where is Zion Baptist Church located?

We are on the corner of Ga. Hwy 20 and Ga. Hwy 212 in Covington, Ga.

What time do the Sunday Worship Services begin?

Life Groups - 9:00 am

Sunday morning - 10:15 am

Sunday evening - 6:00 pm

 

Where do I park if I am a guest?

We have several designated parking spaces for guest off of GA 20.  See Campus Map.

We also have several handicap parking spaces along Building "C" (south parking lot). 

 

What do I wear to your church?

The only dress code we have: wear clothes. Some wear coat and tie.  Some wear jeans and sneakers.  The majority are somewhere in between. 

 

What is a worship service like?

At our 10:15 worship service, our music ministry encourages our congregation in praise and worship.  Our Adult Choir and Orchestra lead with a combination of classic hymns and praise choruses.  Our pastor then leads us in message that is purposefully gospel-centered, because we believe that the gospel is the power of God for salvation.

 

Is there anything for my children on Sunday?

We have Life Group options for newborns through high school seniors, meeting at 9am.  We have childcare (Extended Teaching Care) for newborns through K4 during all worship services.  Children K5 through 5th grade can attend our Kid's Worship during the sermon. Do you have Wednesday Night Services?

Children ages 3 through 7th grade meet every week. The program begins at 6:00 pm in our Family Life Center (until 7:45pm). Youth (Grades 7 -12) can attend Ignite in "The Loft" (Building "B" 3rd floor). Adult Bible Study and Prayer Meeting begins at 6:30 pm in the Chapel.
