 Brown Bag Ministry
The Brown Bag Ministry of East Wake Country serves 400 cold lunches each Saturday to the homeless, hungry, and those otherwise in need of sustenance. KUMC, in partnership with others in mission, supports this ministry on the first Saturday of each month. Volunteers are needed to travel to St. Eugene's Catholic Church in Wendell to assist in the preparation and packing of of the meals using donated materials. Adults, youth, and children are invited to participate. We gather at 8:30 a.m. and depart no later than 8:40 a.m. Preparation time is generally about 2 hours or less.
