Summary

There are really only two religions in the world: the religion of works and the religion of faith. The religion of works teaches us that our deeds are the linchpin in achieving fellowship with God. The religion of faith teaches us that our works contribute nothing to right standing with God. Only God's perfect work on our behalf will save. Though it may seem that people would choose the religion of faith, we never do apart from God's work in us. Why? Because we want to be able to boast.
