Summary

"What's the point?! What good will come from that?" All of us are resistant to any kind of task that we feel is futile...that we feel is pointless. So, if God has taught us that He is in control of salvation and that His purposes always succeed, then we may ask, "Why should we pray?" And why should we pray for the salvation of the lost? We find in Paul's example, and Paul's teaching, that indeed we have every reason to pray when God is in control. May we pray fervently for the salvation of the lost.
