Summary

It is no longer unusual to find a local church that has a female lead pastor. Neither is it unusual to find a church that has never had a female lead pastor. Is either of these churches out of step with God's Word? Does God even care about the issue of gender in the local church? If we take the Word of God seriously, we find that the Word gives us instructions about a rightly ordered church that do not minimize gender but in fact take gender very seriously.
