Summary

After God had created the universe and everything in it, He placed Adam in the Garden of Eden. Then something interested occurred - although Adam was enjoying perfect, sinless intimacy with God, and had a fulfilling life with purpose and meaning, God looked at Adam, saw he was alone, and said "It is not good." We were created not only for intimacy with God, but for community with one another.
