Greetings, Matthew 5:35-38-- "35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
Is it not the same today as then? People are harassed and helpless more so today. Where is our compassion? When we see people in need, do we look at them with hollow eyes? When Jesus looked at the people he had compassion. We need to do the same. When we are born-again and filled with His spirit, we have a witness. So we must share what Jesus did for us to those who do not know Him. And when we need help, Jesus said to pray for workers. This is very important for the building of the kingdom. It is a never ending task. Until Jesus returns in his Glory. Letâ??s get busy doing what we know to do. YFIC, Pastor Doug
