Summary

The parable of the Prodigal Son is the basis for Pastor Doug's message. He tells us that this story is not about the younger son or the grace with which the father receives him. This parable is about the older son who was jealous of the fuss made over his brother's return. Doug says the elder son represents the Pharisees that muttered about Jesus and us as well.
