Summary

King Ahaz stood at a crossroads. Would he believe in the promises of God unto salvation from Aram and Israel, or would he continue to prepare for battle with his own devices? Even after the prophet Isaiah gave him further words of promise and the opportunity for a sign, Ahaz turned from God and His power. As we behold the sign that God gave-the birth of a son from a virgin-what road will we choose? Will we trust in the promises of God in Christ, or not?
