Summary

Even in our broken world, we still look for examples of devoted, sacrificial love. A chief example is the love of a mother for her children. Through sacrifice of time, energy, aspirations, and sometimes even life, mothers stand as a testimony of this great love. As great as this human love is though, it pales in comparison to God's love for His people as shown through the sacrifice of His Son. Though by nature, helpless, ungodly, sinners, and enemies, God proved His eternal love for us through the blood of His Son.
