Summary

Most of Western civilization is intent on being sovereign over life and death. From children in the womb to the aged in a nursing home, we are intent on dictating when humans made in God's image will live and die. Still, the Bible is clear. Only God is sovereign over life and death. But not just physical life. Spiritual life as well. And the apostle Paul teaches us very clearly, in order for us truly to live in Christ, God must kill us first.
