Summary

At His encounter with Moses at the burning bush, God reveals his name to be 'I am who I am' or 'Yahweh.' Not only does this name speak to God's self-existence and eternal nature; it also speaks to His loving and powerful presence with His covenant people. God's ultimate presence with His people is fulfilled in His Incarnation through Jesus Christ.
