Summary

Prayers are powerful and effective, however, it is wise not to hinder the Lord's work by sin. Disciples of Christ are called to confess sin because it is the first step toward healing, forgiveness, and restoration. When we are concerned about whether anyone is 'following us' then we have slipped into focusing on ourselves rather than the glory of Christ.
