Summary

Do people really change? Or does childhood, environment, and education forever determine a person's character and actions? In one sense, Paul teaches us that people do not fundamentally change...if they remain in Adam. In Adam, we will always be disobedient to God. But in another sense, people can really change. For in Christ, through faith in Christ, God makes us new. To deny change for the Christian denies that God saves us to a new way of life.
