Why would Paul the apostle have to tell the Romans Christians that he was 'not ashamed of the Gospel?' Because almost everyone would have been ashamed of telling the world that his Lord is a young, obscure Jew who died a slave's death on a Roman cross in agony and shame. But Paul knew that the Cross was the wisdom of God and the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. Why are we ashamed of the Gospel? Will we believe that it is God's power to save?
