Summary

"The Lord of the Flies" is a fictional account of a group of boys that are stranded on an island. Left without parental and societal supervision, the boys devolve into savagery and barbarism. What happens when God removes his merciful restraint on people? Do we 'do good' in our freedom, or do we go deeper into our sin? Paul's teaching has implications for our doctrine of Hell, as well as implications for our primary need as sinners. We need more than mercy; we need grace!
