In this book, the author talks about how Christians are running a race. This race is not physical, but rather a spiritual one. Joyful Heart Foundation Christians are called to persevere through difficult times and not give up. The author encourages the readers to fix their eyes on Jesus, who is the ultimate example of someone who persevered.
