Summary

Upon the news of the disgraced state of the people of Israel, Nehemiah did not stop his prayer after praise and confession. Nehemiah called on God to remember his promises and his people. As the church of God, we also must look to the promises of God in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we trust in Christ, God will work out his biblical promises for us in the local church.
