Summary

Those who are in Christ have been set free from the law...in one important sense. But much of the instruction from Jesus himself and from the other New Testament writers is that the law still plays an important role for the believer, even though he is saved by grace through Christ. What we normally consider restrictions are actually the things that God provides to keep us free.
