Summary

King David had committed to making preparation for temple worship after his death. That preparation included committing his own personal estate to temple construction. Where is our personal estate going? Of course, our first answer may be 'to our family.' But God would have us evaluate biblically whether we have already provided for our family. An inheritance may only hurt them, and also deprive Kingdom work of assets. And of course, God's kingdom is manifest on this earth primarily in His local church.
