Part 2 of Pastor Don’s sermon series on Acts. This week, we look at Acts 1:6-9, where the disciples want Jesus to restore the kingdom to Israel - a plea for national revival. But Jesus had bigger plans - Kingdom plans for the world. There are some important lessons in this for us today as we consider the impact of the Supreme Court’s decision on gay marriage. What should our response be as followers of Jesus? How does this affect us as a church, as a part of the C&MA, and as individual followers of Jesus?
