Youth Group and College Ministry
Youth/Teen Ministry:
Group Leadership Team includes: Bill Henson & others
Youth group meets after worship most Sundays during the school year in the youth room for fellowship, learning, and activities. The meeting lasts until about 12:30 pm. All youth in 7th grade and up are invited to attend. New kids are always welcome!
Some past activities have included: a trip to Heifer International's Overlook Farm, Youth Group Movie Night, mission trip to Maine, zip lining at Berkshire East, church sleepovers, organized carnival games for past fall festivals, trip to Living Stone Foundation, keeping a local garden on the church grounds to provide vegetables for local food kitchen, and volunteering at Not Bread Alone.
College Ministry

WUMC is partnered with United Christian Foundation at UMass. The UCF has many ongoing events. They sponsor an Alternative Spring Break Missions trip. The last few years have been work trips to the Gulf Region rebuilding homes and doing cleanup work for hurricane relief. Rev. Kent Higgins can be reached at (413) 896-9784 (cell) or by email.
