We will begin our Children’s music activities at the gathering on September 11th where all children can experience the music programs that we have to offer here at Trinity. We will be meeting in half-hour segments to let everyone know what each group has to offer. Please see additional information in the newsletter concerning times and activities. Music can have a positive affect on children, youth, and adults. It is also a wonderful means by which we worship our Lord. Please see the groups listed below. There is a place for everyone. Our Chimes for children in grades 2 – 5 Pat Shrader does a wonderful job teaching these children how to read music by ringing chimes. We need at least 8 children to have a chime choir, so come and bring a friend on the 11th to see if they might enjoy this group. We rehearse from Tintinnabulations There are some changes for this group this year. We want to make this into a stronger choir so we are asking all youth and any adults who would like to try ringing bells but may not have a lot of experience to join us. Since our youth program has been extended, we will now meet from Trinity Belles Our Blackstone Retreat is scheduled for Friday, September 9 to Saturday, September 10th. Please bring your calendars so that we can schedule our times to ring. We will be learning all the music for festival which will be on November 4th and 5th in If you like to sing, we have choirs for all ages. We encourage all our children from around 3 years old - kindergarten to participate in Cherubs. We learn songs, listen to Bible stories, have a craft time, and eat dinner together. We meet on Wednesday nights from Angel Choir and Treble Clefs (Grades 1-5) These choirs work on the same material, but meet at different times. This gives the parents an option to come at Odyssey Choir (Grades 6-12) Music has already arrived for Youth Jam!! We will be learning songs to sing with other youth in the area on November 18-19 at Reveille Trinity Chancel Choir All who enjoy singing are welcome to join this great group of people. This includes high school and college students as well. We learn a variety of styles of music and will soon begin our Advent and Christmas music. We are all ages and meet at Trinity Men’s Chorus We will begin our rehearsal at I am grateful to the UMW for their continued help with dinner for the children on Wednesday evenings. The parents of the Cherubs and Angels will be providing dinner on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, but the other dinners will be provided by the UMW. Thanks ladies for your love and support!
