Recreation
The FHBC Recreation Ministry exists to provide opportunities of outreach, fellowship, and “upreach” for our church members, their guests, and those who have never had a point of contact with FHBC.
Outreach
Outreach through recreational programming serves as an excellent “first touch” to people in our community who are interested in sports, fellowship, and other recreational events, but are not comfortable with attending church.
Fellowship
Fellowship occurs as our church members and guests gather together to enjoy each other in a Christian environment.
Upreach
“Upreach” relates to 1 Corinthians 10:31, which tells us that “whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
Golf | MPACT Martial Arts | Upward Sports
Our bodies are God’s temple, and opportunities to strengthen our bodies through basketball, golf, softball, volleyball, martial arts, soccer, and cardiovascular and strength training all exist through our Recreation Ministry.
The Family Life Center offers:
- Gymnasium that features a full-size basketball court, adjustable to 2 cross-courts with adjustable goals
- Indoor running and walking track
- Gym lobby features a snack area and television area
- Men’s and women’s locker rooms and showers
