"Dance Your Shoes Off" Rehearsal - Montgomery

Location: Heritage Baptist Church - Montgomery

Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery invites you to join the event, "Rise Up 2013: Dance Your Shoes Off", on Saturday, April 6th at 11:30am at The Shoppes at Eastchase. This is a "flash-mob" style celebration that will take place in the parking lot between Genghis Grill and Earth Fare, across the street from Lifeway.

Each “flash-mob” participant buys and wears a new pair of shoes that morning, does the dance routine with 300-400 people and leaves the shoes in the parking lot – to be gathered and donated to charity organizations.

Participants are asked to attend at least one, preferably two of the pre-April 6 rehearsals. There is also have a tutorial video on the Heritage website.

Group rehearsals will be held in the Oasis student building on the following dates:

Thursday March 7, 5-6pm & 6-7pm

Sunday March 10, 3:30-5pm

Sunday, March 17, 12:30-2pm

Sunday, March 24, 4-5pm & 6-7pm

Monday, April 1, 6-7pm

The preparation night, or "dress rehearsal", will be Wednesday, April 3rd from 6-7:30pm in the Worship Center & Family Life Center

On Saturday, April 6th, rehearsal will begin at 10, followed by a break at 11, and the event at 11:30.
