Sunday Services

Traditional Worship
8:30 and 11 a.m., in the Sanctuary
In Sunday morning worship, we come together to praise God for His greatness and to celebrate the good news of His love. These two traditional services are filled with traditional music, creeds and prayers.
Vinebranch Worship
8:30 and 11 a.m., in the Chapel
Vinebranch is Alpharetta Methodist's contemporary worship service. Encounter God and find strength and encouragement on your journey of faith. This service offers creative music and multimedia in a casual setting, with a Wesleyan emphasis on strong Biblical preaching, sacraments, and service to the world. The Vinebranch band, under the leadership of Stephanie Newton, leads the congregation in dynamic worship through modern songs and hymns. The Vinebranch band regularly holds coffee house events featuring rock, country, folk, contemporary and worship music. Learn more here.

Worship for Children
Children in grades K-5 meet in Trinity Hall for Children’s Worship. This is a time for children to hear a Bible lesson, worship through praise music and prayer and gather in small groups with their peers to discuss the lesson and work on activities. Children’s Worship concludes with fellowship and play time. During the 8:30 a.m. traditional service, children attend the first part of worship with their families. They are escorted to Children’s Worship by volunteers after the Children’s Message. Children arrive for 11 a.m. Children’s Worship after Sunday School (10:45 a.m.).
Fourth and fifth graders are encouraged to participate in Bridge to Worship at 11 a.m. While learning about prayers, creeds and sacraments, students attend traditional worship or Vinebranch worship together the last Sunday of each month. In January, this class will meet twice a month as the children transition into attending worship full time with their families.
Preschool Worship, which provides Bible lessons and activities for our three and four years olds, is available during all services.
