When you need wisdom, take a month and read the Proverbs. To get acquainted with Jesus better, take a month and read the Gospels. During a particularly trying time, give yourself a boost by reading the Psalms in a month. To read the whole Bible in a year, you could also combine the NT on weekdays with the OT in one year.
